Two types of route optimization are available:
- Multi-vehicle route planning. From a list of QuickBooks invoices, assign the work to the vehicles so that the overall transportation costs are reduced.
- Route sales planning. From a list of QuickBooks estimates or invoices, assign the work to the designated route salesperson, placing the stops in shortest travel path and ensuring that the necessary product will fit on the vehicle.

Multi-Vehicle Planning or Route Sales Planning
Create invoices in QuickBooks and specify a special shipping method for any invoice to be assigned to a vehicle or driver for route planning. On the date that the invoice is to be shipped, it will be picked up automatically.
With a few clicks, all invoices that are to be shipped on a selected date are transferred from QuickBooks to Strategic Movements.
Once the invoices are in Strategic Movements, they may be assigned to vehicle or drivers either manually or automatically using the least cost assignment function.
